Gilding
and Leafing
I have covered miles of architectural mouldings and ornament with gold leaf on oil-based gold size and with the help of experienced assistants can take on extensive projects. I recently gilded (with white gold) much of the detail of the Foyer at Claridge's.
I also make extensive use of other leaf types, in particular aluminium, both as a base for creating modern finishes with overglazing and in the application of motifs, many examples of which appear on other items on this site.
